It can take courage to ask for help. I applaud you for reading on. I hope that I am your choice to support you, your child, partner, parent, family or friend. I provide 30 years of experience. I served as a school social worker from 2005 – 2021 in both private and public school systems. I am versed in a variety of clinical modalities. As a licensed clinical social worker and certified addictions counselor, I also worked in the Employee Assistance field and business sectors. I received my undergraduate degree in Opera with a minor in business from Indiana University, my master’s degree in social work from The University of Chicago, Loyola University post-master degree for type 73 school social work. My greatest accomplishment of all included raising four children with my partner of 33+ years. Thank you for your time and consideration!
My goal is to evoke positive change in the individuals who choose to work with me. I excel in working with children (4+), adolescents, adults, parents, couples and families. I am passionate about supporting an individual to be their best self. To that end, each individual is unique. My effort to support health and your journey affords me to reach in and share a tool chest of 30 years of experience. I extract clinical modalities that best suit the person with whom I am working. I incorporate mindfulness and healing in my work with others. I focus on supporting an individual’s strengths. Together we learn how to reframe difficult situations into an opportunity for continued growth. This includes working with ASD, twice exceptional children, ADHD, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, LGTBQ, trauma, mood disorders, substance issues, family, couples issues and elder issues.
